**NOTE: Members of this team must be able to arrive a few days early and stay late into Sunday night.**
“If you build it…they will come!” Do you dream of a glowing sea of computer monitors flashing images to thousands of gamers just like you? Can you turn a screw driver, or tape down an extension cord? How are your skills at plugging in a keyboard and mouse? Maybe you have a group of friends who all just want to help “any way you can”? Then the Construction Team is the place for you. This team is all about getting the show up and running. Typically the team will arrive two to three days prior to the party to unpack from the previous event, and setup for the current event. Tasks are relatively simple and revolve around larger scale efforts that require many hands. Tasks such as assembling dozens of gaming chairs, setting out hundreds of power strips, taping down miles of network cable, putting up countless curtains, and building dozens of stands to hold networking equipment all fall to the Construction Crew.
Now, as with all good things, DreamHack eventually come to an end. As they say, “What goes up, must come down”. The tear down efforts take just as many hands as setup, but must typically be accomplished in a significantly reduced time. This is when the Construction Crew will jump back into high gear even while final competitions are wrapping up…boxing up PC’s, collecting power strips, and disassembling items all needing to make their way to the next event. The crew will typically work until late hours of the last night, and wrap up final efforts the day following the event.
So if you and your friends can come early to the party and\or stay after the lights turn on, but really want to be free to experience DreamHack …then the Construction Team can use your help. The Construction Crew is the only team who’s efforts are only scheduled prior to, and immediately after the event…leaving you and your friends free to frag away and experience the spectacle that is DreamHack. (Oh, we might also mention this leaves you free to try out any other team(s) which only run during the event…if you were so inclined. ) Join the Construction Team…its the party BEFORE the Party!!!

The Crew Services team is there to take care of this vital asset. We make sure that the Crew is well fed, has places to rest and relax when off-shift, a safe secure place to sleep (Ha! And new for DreamHack Atlanta, we have the unique opportunity to run the first ever (in the US) on-site sleeping area for DreamHack attendees (a staple of DreamHack events in Europe). So if you want to be a key part in keeping DreamHack Atlanta running smoothly and have a passion for helping others, then apply today for the Crew Services team, and let’s make this the best US DreamHack to date!

CrewTV’s goal is to document and showcase the many facets of DreamHack. From tournaments to contests activities and events, this team’s job is to feature and show people what makes DreamHack great. CrewTV both streams live content and creates edited video content of the event. CrewTV aims to cover anything not already on the DHTV broadcasts.
DREAMHACK STAFF ONLY- Please do not apply if you are not full time DH staff.
DreamHack TV is responsible for producing the official DHTV broadcasts for the Esports stages and tournaments. Anything you see on Twitch or other streaming services is produced by this team.
90% of this team will be staffed by professional contractors, however, they MIGHT accept a few volunteers to help them run the stages. How many volunteers they need (and what they will actually be helping with) is still be decided by the international DreamHack staff. Therefore, positions on this team will not be filled until the few weeks leading up to the event. Because of this, we encourage all applicants to seek other teams if you'd still like to volunteer at the event and you MAY be contacted at a later date to help with DHTV, if the DH staff are impressed by your application.
This team is managed by DH Sweden staff members that own each pro tournament. They usually select 1-4 volunteers that have significant tournament experience to assist them with tournament execution.
Volunteers for this team should expect to help setup and tear down computers and stage equipment, run cables and power, clear stages of unused gear and personal items, assisting players with technical and logistic needs, and various other tasks to support the tournaments.
